There have recently been a large handful of missing persons reports, leading the authorities to be especially watchful of criminal activity. The citizens of Paris brush this matter under their hats however. There are far more important things to think about. Such as the upcoming Masquerade ball at the Opéra Garnier...

The timid chorus girl, who enjoys tea and cakes on Sundays...The gloomy politician, who watches Paris go by from his penthouse window...The pragmatic barkeep who sees his patrons drink their cares away through hazy green bottles...Or another mysterious face who appears in the crowd among hundreds, with secret desires and talents yet to be extricated?
