There are some people who are religious and like to take religious courses. Or maybe just want to learn more about a religion. The current courses offered at Silverton Academy are Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, Judaism and even Muslim.

It's mostly the males who take construction classes such as Automotive Systems, Carpentry, Basics Drafting and Fundamentals of Electricity at Silverton Academy. But once in a while you might have a female or two in the class.

Yes, there is a separate room assigned for detentions that take place every Friday. It's a horrible day for detention, but you're a horrible student for earning it.

Now who doesn't love English? Some people may not because it involves work such as reading novels or plays or writing essays. Big deal, you must take it all four years of high school in this order;; General Literature, Shakespeare, American Classics and last but not least English Classics.

Some people don't like English class let alone a class where you can only speak a Foreign Language and English doesn't count. Foreign Language classes include Spanish, German, Italian, French and even Japanese.

Not every student at Silverton Academy are interested in these courses but there are some who are. Three courses available are Business Studies, Computers and Web Design. If your interested then take them!

Ew math. But then again there are some people who actually like math. Cough cough, yes those are the nerds. Or even some people who aren't nerds like math. Anyway they are the basic courses;; Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and of course good old Calculus.

Most people like music or at least to listen to it on their iPod or Zune or whatever MP3 player they have these days. But there are some who actually play an instrument maybe two or even like to sing. The popular courses include Band, Choir, Musical Theory and Dance.

Science courses can be fun at times. If it's chemistry you get to play use chemicals and fire or in Biology you get to dissect things which can be disgusting. Anyway like most high schools there are four main courses;; Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.[E]/SIZ
